Losing a loved one creates a huge, aching emptiness where the heart used to be! It is unspeakably painful. One feels one will never recover, that life is over – for the living, as well as the dead. We find ourselves rocking, moaning uncontrollably. And then, gradually, we move through the numbness, the fury, the weeping, the questioning – to acceptance, and a decision to live again, while always remembering those we loved and lost.
