At the time of the September 11, 2001 tragedies, I was watching the evening news on TV at my home in Japan . Suddenly the picture changed . At first I could not understand the reason. I saw a building burning and thought it was a movie. I soon found out it was the World Trade Center, a place that I had visited with my friend Drunell Levinson.
Suddenly a plane struck the south tower....
Fear nailed me to the picture....
Then both of the towers dissolved.
I could not take in what was going on from the inanimate image on TV. But there must have been many people and many rescue teams. I was at a loss what to do.
I could not suppress my tears....
I keep praying that all of the people's souls involved in this tragedy will go to Heaven.
